Commitment to Excellence

My commitment to excellence will be an asset to the Simpsonville City Council.

I am committed to excellence in everything I do.  This is why I’ve been given progressively more responsibility over the eleven years of my career at Tri-County, and why I’ve been elected to several institutional, state, and national leadership positions.

It’s also why I’ve been recognized with a number of honors & awards, including:

  1. South Carolina Technical Education Association Educator of the Year, 2015.
  2. Two-time nominee for the Outstanding First-Year Student Advocate Award (a national award), 2008 and 2010.
  3. Excellence in Service Award, Tri-County Technical College, 2007.
  4. Commitment to Professional Development Award, 2004.

And it’s why those who know me say things like this:

Jennifer is a brilliant thinker. She is a highly driven, success orientated individual with an incredible future. Jennifer has a passion for helping others reach their potential, and has a vision for engaging and educating people that breeds internal motivation and drive. She achieves her visions by planning, communicating, and executing her goals in a manner that creates energy and passion both in her team, and our college.
