About Me

I’ve served on the Simpsonville City Council since January 2016. I live in Westwood with my husband Trent and our two rescue dogs, Bonnie Ray and Oakley.

I am a graduate of Winthrop University, where I earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree.

I work full-time at Tri-County Technical College. There, I serve as the Dean for Academic & Career Foundations. Trent serves as the Department Head for Transportation Technologies at Greenville Technical College. In addition to administrative responsibilities, we both teach. We love our jobs and the opportunity it allows us to make a difference in the lives of our students. We also love this city. It’s why we choose to live here–despite the fact that one of us still commutes an hour to and from work every day!
