Improved Communication

#ThrowbackThursday: one of my first posts after being sworn into office! This Council has made many improvements to communications between citizens and the City. We have revamped the city’s website, making it more user-friendly. We have a new quarterly newsletter. The city’s Facebook page is substantially more active than ever before. Councilmembers have official, public social media accounts for the first time, using them to share information with citizens. This one has been active throughout my time in office. We have substantially increased the number of public meetings, seeking citizen input. The Downtown Master Planning meetings are just one recent example of many. We’ve recently asked our Community Relations Specialist to reach out to local HOAs and other neighborhood groups to try to get information to them directly to share with their residents. Know someone Justin should connect with? Email him at jcampbell@simpsonville.com. Mayor Janice Curtis and the rest of this Council is committed to continuous improvement. We’ve made incredible progress, and we intend to keep Simpsonville on the right track. You can help by voting on November 5th. #JennAgain #Jenn4Ward3
