For years now, I’ve heard residents lament about the lack of interstate signage at the exits to Simpsonville. And I agreed then and now that the entry points to the city could be more appealing. We started by upgrading the landscaping and adding a number of trees to the interchanges at Fairview and West Georgia Rd. And now that we have our rebranding complete, we’re ready to talk signage. Reminder: all this work is funded by A-Tax dollars, not property taxes (and A-Tax dollars are very specifically regulated by the State). Council will be presented with options at Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole agenda. Join us at 6:30 at City Hall!
