Something I’ve been arguing in favor of since 2016: citywide pay study. We finally completed one. And tonight we voted to implement recommended changes. Phase 1a: pay increases for patrol officers & firefighters. I’m so excited that we’re finally able to do that. Because I’ve been saying for years that it’s critical to recruiting and retaining the public safety employees we need to keep Simpsonville #SimplySafe. This Council agrees unanimously!
